Club Accounts

Saving for special events like Christmas and vacation is a breeze with Members CU’s club accounts. These accounts help you systematically save for all the expenses that these events bring.

To open one of our savings club accounts, you must be a member. Find out about membership eligibility on our Join MCU page and join us. All you need to do is print out a Membership Application and take it to the nearest MCU branch location. Existing members may fill out a Subsequent Action form to open a savings club account. Call 1800-951-8000 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) when you need assistance.

Christmas Club Account

Gifts, parties, and travel can bear a hefty price tag at the end of the year. Why not begin saving for your holiday expenses well ahead of time? You can open a Christmas Club Account with no initial deposit provided you begin payroll deductions to make regular deposits. Otherwise, a $25 deposit is required. You can continue to automatically save throughout the year with payroll deduction or automatic draft. We will pay you dividends any month in which your average daily balance is $25 or more. During the first week of November, Members CU will transfer funds to your Members CU Savings or Checking Account, or we will mail a check to your home address.

Members CU disperses Christmas Club funds during the first week of November, just in time for prime holiday shopping. Payroll deductions do not stop being deposited into your Christmas Club account when your funds are disbursed in November. Your deductions continue, so you continue to save for the next holiday season.

Vacation Club Account

Like a Christmas Club Account, there is no initial deposit required provided you fund your account through payroll deduction. Otherwise, a $25 initial deposit is required to open this account. Your account will earn dividends every month that your balance meets the $25 minimum balance requirement. The Vacation Club Account does not disperse funds automatically. To have your check sent to you or transferred to another Members CU account, call 800-951-8000, to speak to a Member Services Representative. You can also use your Vacation Club Account to save for other significant events like weddings, new baby arrivals, milestone birthday celebrations, or graduation celebrations.
