When does MCU charge a late payment fee if I don’t pay my loan on time and how much do they charge?

What do I do if I suspect fraud has been committed on my account?

Call us at 800-951-8000 immediately. If your Visa Debit Card Number is compromised, we will disable your Visa Debit Card and issue you a new card and PIN once you sign the request authorizing MCU to close your old card and order a new one. If your account has been accessed by an unauthorized person, we will close your account, open a new account for you and move your funds to the new account. If there have been fraudulent transactions, you can fill out a fraud form that can be provided to you when you call us to report the fraud. You will be reimbursed for any charges to your account that were made as a result of fraudulent activity. What do I do if my MCU Visa Debit Card has been lost or stolen?

If your card has been lost or stolen during regular business hours (M-F, 8 AM-5 PM) call Card Services at 800-951-8000, ext. 1268.  After hours call 1-866-333-4740. We will disable your current card and issue a new debit card once you sign the request authorizing MCU to close your old card and order a new one. To obtain the paperwork please call Members CU at 800-951-8000 or visit your local branch.

How do I  set up direct deposit?

To set up direct deposit ask your employer for their direct deposit form. These forms will ask for the following information:

  • Routing and Transit Number: MCU’s is 253177793.
  • Your checking account number that is used for all deposits and withdrawals. It is found on the bottom of the check directly to the right of the routing number.
  • Members CU’s address: P.O. Box 5297, Winston-Salem NC, 27113.
  • You may be asked to submit a voided check so the employer can verify the information. Write “void”  in large letters and cover most of the lines so no one can write anything on your check.
