MCU Membership Has it’s Privileges

If you are an existing member, you can enroll in online or mobile banking and open a new  account under the "Services" menu option by clicking on "Open an Account." This way, you can skip part of the application and have some of your information prefilled in the form. Anyone can click on "Join MCU" on our home page (memcu.com) and "Open an Account" to start at the beginning of the application. You will have to meet member eligibility requirements to join and be sure to upload a valid photo ID so that we can verify your identity.

There are fees that may be charged for account services, but they can all be avoided so that you pay no fees. To avoid the $3 low balance fee, be sure to keep a minimum of $25 in your account on the last business day of the month. We charge 57 cents for each printed paper statement that we mail to you. When you open an account at MCU, make sure to enroll in MEMCU Online and Mobile to register for eStatements. eStatements are free and save you the 57 cents it costs to have your statement printed and mailed to you. Visit our homepage memcu.com and click on “Sign In” and then “Enroll Here.” You will enroll using your last name, social security, date of birth and zip code. You will be asked to create a unique login ID. Next, you will request a Secure Access Code by text message, email, or phone call. Once you enter in your one time secure access code, you will be asked to review contact info, and create a secure password.

Once you enroll in MEMCU Online or Mobile, you can enroll in free Online Bill Pay. Click on "Make a Payment" and then "Bill Payment." The first time you click on Bill Payment, you will select from a list of eligible accounts to choose which account you will use to enroll. You must have a checking account to use Online Bill Pay. Click on the "Love My CU Rewards" banner at the bottom of the home page and sign up for a Love My CU Rewards Account. Be sure to select Members Credit Union as your credit union.  Search for "Members" and it will narrow down the search results.
