This summer, we're proud to partner again with Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas for our annual summer fundraiser, Making Waves Against Cancer. Together, we're raising funds to support local children and families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.
Every donation, every t-shirt purchased, and every act of support helps create a wave of hope for families who need it most. Even better, Members Credit Union will match every dollar raised through t-shirt sales and donations dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of every contribution.
Making an Impact Together
Thanks to the generosity of our members, employees, and communities, Members Credit Union has raised more than $137,000 for Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas over the past three years. With your support, we're hoping to surpass an incredible milestone and raise more than $200,000 for Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas by the end of 2026.
These funds help provide critical support to families navigating childhood cancer, including assistance with transportation, lodging, meals, and other essential needs during treatment. Every dollar raised stays right here in our region, helping families focus on what matters most: their child's care and recovery.
This year, we're excited to make every gift go even further. Through our dollar-for-dollar matching commitment, every $1 donated becomes $2 for local families. That means your support immediately doubles in value and doubles its impact.
How You Can Help
From now through August 31, there are several ways you can support the campaign:
Purchase a Fundraiser T-Shirt
Our limited-edition Making Waves Against Cancer t-shirts are available at all Members Credit Union branches for just $15 each. Every shirt purchased helps support local families while spreading awareness throughout our communities. And because Members Credit Union will match every dollar raised, your $15 t-shirt purchase instantly becomes a $30 contribution to Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas.
Make a Donation
Want to give a little extra? Donations of any amount are welcome and make a meaningful difference. Every dollar raised helps Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas continue providing support to families during one of the most difficult journeys they may ever face. A $10 donation becomes $20. A $25 donation becomes $50. A $100 donation becomes $200. Every gift goes twice as far in supporting local children and families facing childhood cancer.
