War Eagle Credit Union (WECU), powered by Members Credit Union, is a student-focused, student-run credit union located inside Davie County High School. Since 2018, WECU has helped students gain real-world experience managing money while providing convenient access to financial services right on campus.
Students can open checking and savings accounts, make deposits and withdrawals, access their accounts online and through the MEMCU Mobile app, and learn financial skills that will help prepare them for life after high school.
WECU is also a hands-on financial education opportunity. Student tellers work alongside trained Members Credit Union staff while students throughout Davie High have opportunities to learn about saving, budgeting, credit, borrowing and other important financial topics.

How Do I Put Money Into My WECU Account?
There are several convenient ways to add money to a student's account:
At WECU
Students can bring cash or checks to WECU at Davie High School on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
At a Members Credit Union Branch
Students can make deposits at any Members Credit Union branch. The two closest MCU locations are:

At a CO-OP Shared Branch
Students can make deposits at participating CO-OP Shared Branch locations. Parents who bank with a participating shared-branch credit union may also be able to transfer funds from their credit union account into their student's WECU account at a participating location. Cash App or Venmo
Parents can send money to their student through Cash App or Venmo, and the student can then move those funds into their WECU account.

As a member of War Eagle Credit Union, you may be eligible to apply for a Members Credit Union Scholarship to help with the cost of continuing your education.
Members Credit Union's Scholarship Program has been helping members pursue their educational goals since 1996. Scholarship applicants are considered based on areas including academic achievement, writing ability, school involvement, and community activities.
